Explanation

題名は「ケンタウリ」と読みます。由来は星座より、ケンタウロス座にある「プロキシマ・ケンタウリ」という、太陽系から一番近い位置にある恒星系の名前から取りました。

星座について特に博識なわけでもないですが、どうしても宇宙の魅力にひかれるのが人類、もしかすると生命の性かもしれませんね。

この「プロキシマ・ケンタウリ」の周りをまわる惑星には地球に近い環境の星があるらしく、未来には人類の移住先となっている可能性もあるそうです。そんな未来を思い描いて自由に曲をつくってみました。

形式はソナタ形式の変形のような形ですが、ほぼ自由形式。複数の主題が合流して新たな音楽がうまれ、絶妙な音楽の化学変化がおきています。

弾き手を気にせずつくったため、難易度は非常に高く、手の大きさによっては演奏不可能な部分もあります。メロディはキャッチ―なつくりとなっているため、音楽自体は親しみやすいでしょう。
